I bought this case not long after buying the Kipling 50 pen case. Which honestly only holds 25-30 gel pens. However, I loved the look and quality of the case, so I bought this one, on sale, and I’m giving it 5 stars because it suits my purpose...not solely for pens and pencils, but art supplies I frequently use.The outside of the case looks great and feels very durable. The top and bottom of the case are slightly padded, which is nice. The zipper is large and opens easily and doesn’t feel cheap. The little monkey is a cute little addition, although my cat’s hair already stuck to it.Inside the top there are 14 loops to hold individual pens or pencils. The second “flap” has 12 of the same stretchy loops. In my case, I put my Prismacolor Manga set of pencils in the loops, as well as a blending pencil, and 2 regular pens. When you fold back that flap you get to the bulk of the case, which has no more loops. I’m not sure how many pens it would hold, although I’m guessing from my experience it would not be 100 total (at least not gel pens with clips). The bottom has no structure, so your pens or whatever will be loose. I knew this and that’s why I got this case.So in the large compartment of the case, I’ve got an array of supplies that I use frequently. I’ve got a couple kneaded erasers, a Prismacolor plastic eraser, 3 small pencil sharpeners, 2 Prismacolor blending markers, a sandpaper block, eraser pen refills, mechanical pencil refills, tortillons and blending stumps, 3 Uni Posca white paint pens, 3 white gel pens, a blending pencil and an Ebony pencil, a pencil extender, a 6 inch ruler and 6 Micron pens, and a couple of regular ball point pens. There is still room for more stuff, but I kind of like it looser so I can rummage around in it easier to find what I need.Yes, I love this case, although it will not hold 100 pens and the loops are very tight unless you're putting in thin straight pens. There are a total of 26 loops and an open area for loose items, be it pens or whatever. I have found it's best for me NOT to use the two end loops (#1 & #14) on the inside front of the case, it makes it just too tight across the front in my opinion. Fatter pens are difficult to put in, but not impossible. I have Micron Pigma pens in mine, and a few Sakura gel pens. I tried my Flairs, got them in, but... tight. so they are now loose in the open area. I have this case in black with a plain inside and in summer splash which has the printed lining. I prefer the printed lining, looks much nicer, indeed. The outer material seems to be sturdy nylon, and both I have are color saturated. The zipper is big with big teeth... the better to keep it closed, my dear. :) And the overall size of the case isn't as huge as I thought it might be. It is a nice case in spite of the drawbacks. Worth retail price? not in my opinion. I paid $29.99 for each of mine and feel that was a bit too much as well. Find them on sale when you can unless you just gotta have it now! :)Love all that is Kipling, big fan! This product is wonderful ?This case is terrific. It's a bit larger than I thought I needed but in the end everything fit perfectly. I'm sure it would hold close to 100 pens but I am using it as a travel sketch case. I have about 6 pens and an equal amount of pencils in the first section. The elastic is snug but I'm sure it'll stretch with use. The other panel has about a dozen elastic slots for more pens or pencils but I have brushes and stumps in mine. The back section is a few inches deep. I have a travel watercolor set, small sized hole punch, stapler , double holed sharpener case, six more pencils in a holder and a few other odds and ends. Everything fits perfectly and I could fit a small sketch pad too, but it might be snug. The zipper is a nice big one that moves pretty smoothly. The case is lightly padded. The cover feels like nylon but I'm not sure. I don't think it's waterproof but you can wipe it with a damp rag. Overall, a really nice case. This product is AMAZING I LOVE IT!! I got this on sale for $30.00 but in my opinion is worth the $50 I have around 60 pens in mine. The only thing is with the flap and the top of the pencil case I recommend putting thinner pens bc otherwise, it's hard to zipper. All in all, I rate this a 10/10. I have the true blue and it's looks only slightly blue. This is a great case! Only negative, since it’s structured it’s heavy when full. It is made out of nice quality. I have used this case everyday since August and it still looks new. It holds a lot of supplies, if you’re lookin for something that holds a lot so you won’t have to buy multiple cases. You might be thinking, “wow, what a great looking pen case.” But you would be wrong. This is, in fact, a cat bed. The most expensive cat bed I have ever owned. There used to be pens in it, and it was perfect for organizing my most used pens, planner stickers, and highlighters. The quality is wonderful and I haven’t had a single issue.. other than my cat stealing it from me every chance she gets.ExcelenteExcelente vendedor y producto todo de muy buena calidad a buen precioBeaucoup aiméSuper bad quality for the price you payVery good!
